The older Sea-Dweller (Ref. 16600) was already a highly water-resistant model, but the improved new Deepsea features an innovative case structure with a Ringlock system and an integrated helium valve made of nitrogen alloy stainless steel, achieving a water resistance of 3,900 meters—a system truly worthy of its name. While conventional clasps require tools for length adjustment, this model is equipped with a Glidelock clasp, allowing for easy manual adjustment in 2mm increments up to a maximum of 20mm. This particular model features a unique dial called the "D-BLUE dial," which has a gradient of blue at the 12 o'clock position and black at the 6 o'clock position.
