The exterior has very small cracks in the luminous parts of the hour hand and GMT hand, but they are not noticeable and do not affect its use. Otherwise, it is in clean condition and does not require "finishing (polishing)" to remove scratches, so you can use it with peace of mind as a used item.

This "GMT Master I" was introduced as a "pilot's model" that allows you to easily read the time in two different countries by simply rotating the rotating 24-hour display bezel by the difference in time. (The red 24-hour hand is fixed and only synchronizes with the time.) Unlike its successor, the "GMT-Master II," it features a convenient quick-set date function that eliminates the need to advance the calendar by quickly moving the hour hand. As it has been out of production for a long time, it is now a difficult model to obtain.
